I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
